Baeksan Memorial Hall is a memorial hall for Ahn Hee-je, located in an alley leading down from Yongdusan Park in Busan toward Jungang-ro. It displays Ahn Hee-je's life story along with about 80 items, including his belongings and materials from the independence movement, from the period when he ran Baeksan Sanghoe during Japanese colonial rule. It is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and until 5 p.m. on weekends, and a guide provides detailed explanations. The space is underground, so visitors go up and down a small staircase, and it sits inside an alley, making it hard to find.
