The 40 Stairs sit in Jungang-dong, Busan, between Busan Station and Nampo-dong. They are a historical site that looks back on the lives of Busan residents after the war. A few sculptures run along the 40 Stairs-gil around the staircase. The site shows the hardship of life in Busan after the war in several forms, and there is little else to see besides the stairs.
