Matdaemat

Matdaemat is a baekban restaurant near Gwangju University in Jinwol-dong, Nam-gu, Gwangju, serving jeyuk bokkeum, ojingeo bokkeum, and dakgalbi. The jeyuk bokkeum and ojingeo bokkeum combine a sweet, charred flavor with tender squid. Ordering one main dish brings a stew alongside, and the side dishes are enough to finish a bowl of rice. The restaurant remembers each of the students from the school in front of it.
