Daegaya Son Kalguksu

Daegaya Son Kalguksu is a small, long-running restaurant near Myeongdeok Station serving kalguksu (knife-cut noodles), bibim noodles, and kaljebi. The grandmother kneads and rolls the chewy noodles herself, and they come with geotjeori and buchu kimchi; the bibim noodles are not spicy and have a rustic flavor. The restaurant has about four tables, so food takes around 30 minutes after ordering. Portions are large, so ask for less in advance if needed, and payment is cash only.
