Takomasu

Takomasu is a stall in Nishiki Market in Kyoto that sells Osaka-style takoyaki. The basic takoyaki comes topped with scallions and mayonnaise, and the tsuyu tako is served with hot broth and grated radish. Customers sit on a bench in front of the shop or stand to eat, and the food comes out quickly. The takoyaki has a soft texture rather than a crisp exterior, and the pieces of octopus are small.
