Sky Restaurant Pittoresque is a French restaurant on the 17th floor of Hotel Okura Kyoto in Nakagyo Ward. It centers on a monthly changing course that uses seasonal ingredients, and the amuse-bouche features regional ingredients such as Ayu from the Azumi River. Window seats look down over central Kyoto and the Higashiyama mountain range, and at lunch the layered ridges of the mountains are visible. Kyoto's height restrictions keep the night view from being dramatic.
