Sakuragawa is a traditional kaiseki and Japanese restaurant in Kiyamachi Nijo, Kyoto, serving seasonal ingredients. Lunch is a kaiseki set and dinner is a nine-course meal that runs in order through hassun, clear soup, hoe, grilled dishes, rice cooked in a pot, and dessert. Many guests book ahead to eat here, and the large counter puts the cooking in close view. A painting of the Gion Matsuri Yamahoko procession hangs on the wall.
