Mossan No Betayaki is a stall in an alley near Nijo Castle that serves betayaki, a Kyoto-style okonomiyaki. The special betayaki can be ordered with soba noodles, which come out crisper at the ends, and the menu also includes okonomiyaki topped with plenty of scallions and yakisoba. The open kitchen lets diners watch the griddle cooking, and noodles are chosen between Japanese noodles and soba. Payment is cash only, and a seating charge is added for foreign customers.
