Modern Times

Modern Times is a basement live house and restaurant in Kyoto, about a 10-minute walk from Sanjo Station across the river. It serves omurice, omu curry, karaage, curry, and pizza alongside a live stage. Performances take place on a large stage with a good sound system, and reserved meals arrive in lidded single-portion boxes. Some seats in the audience area have pillars that block the view.
