Matsumoto

Matsumoto is a small soba shop on Yanagikoji alley in Kyoto, a three-minute walk from Kawaramachi Station. It serves sake with snacks such as scallop namemiso and grilled duck hearts, and the soba comes as a single kind, mori soba, with a strong aroma and a firm texture. The shop has seven counter seats and is run by one person, so a reservation is needed. Entry is not allowed for those who do not drink alcohol.
