Kyoto Wagyu Yakiniku Mansei

Mansei is a yakiniku and gopchang restaurant at the end of a narrow alley on Kiyamachi-dori in front of Kyoto City Hall. The grill covers beef tongue, tsurami (beef cheek), and vegetables, served with a garlic-heavy seasoning and crisp cucumber kimchi. From May, kawadoko seats open along the Kamo River with night views, and these seats book up fast. Ordering is not easy without comfortable Japanese.
