Kyo Unawa Honten is an eel rice bowl restaurant in central Kyoto serving hitsumabushi and unaju. The hitsumabushi eel is crisp and the unaju eel is moist, and eel egg roll and shiro hitsumabushi can also be ordered. There are counter seats and table seats, and reservations can be made through Tabelog. Going without a reservation can mean a wait.
