Isomatsu

Isomatsu is an izakaya near Kawaramachi in Kyoto that serves wine and dishes built around Kyoto vegetables grown in-house. The menu includes vegetable shabu-shabu, omelet, soba, and carpaccio, paired with wine. Many guests reserve ahead, so walk-ins may wait about 10 minutes. The menu is written only in Japanese and English, and staff help with ordering.
