Hale is a small restaurant in a back alley of Nishiki Market in Kyoto that serves Japanese-style vegan lunch centered on tofu and yuba. At lunch it offers a set menu with yuba donburi and several kinds of obanzai. The entrance is small and reached through a narrow passage between market stalls, making it hard to find. The lunch set is priced on the higher side.
