Gion Chaya Tabanenoshi Shinkyogoku is a creperie in Kyoto's Shinkyogoku that sells matcha crepes and lattes, about a five-minute walk from Kawaramachi Station. Its signature matcha brulee crepe centers on rich Kakegawa matcha cream and crisp brulee, with ice cream and frozen strawberries added. There is seating on the second floor, so you can eat quietly after walking around Nishiki Market and Kawaramachi. The matcha tiramisu crepe is a store-limited item stamped with the characters for "Kyoto."
