Furlan

Furlan is an eight-seat Italian restaurant in central Kyoto that serves seasonal dishes and food from the Friuli region of Italy. The menu includes pancetta with fried potatoes, mushroom pasta, and squid ink pasta. Owner-chef Mizutani opened it in autumn 2023 and runs it alone, with plating visible from the counter at lunch. The yuzu ice cream is made by machine, and butterbur flower gelato is also served.
