Butagorilla Honten is a tonkatsu shop near Nijo Castle in Kyoto that serves deep-fried cutlets and lotus root stuffed with filling. Its set meals include one with rosu katsu and fried lotus root, and the Makutoro Katsu Jeon pairs barley rice with tororo. Diners choose between white rice and barley rice and pick either sauce or oroshi ponzu. The shop has two horigotatsu seats, four tables, and counter seats, and the batter separates from the meat.
