Amitatsu

Amitatsu is an izakaya in Kyoto's Sanjo shopping street that serves seafood dishes and set meals of fish. The menu includes braised mackerel set meals, seafood rice bowls, and hoe, grilled, and fried fish, and drinks are available during the day. It opens at 11:30 AM and lunch is served until 2 PM, with free refills of rice and miso soup. Seating consists of simple chairs made from sake crates with cushions, which are uncomfortable for sitting a long time.
