The L.A. Mart Hotel Kyoto sits near Kawaramachi shopping street in Nakagyo Ward, a three-to-five-minute walk from the station. It offers twin-bed rooms and triple rooms, and some rooms are wide enough to open a suitcase, with a Seven-Eleven directly in front. Guests hand their room key to the front desk each time they leave the hotel. Depending on the room, the air can feel stuffy and the bathroom ventilation is weak.
