Kyoto Machiya Fukune

Kyoto Machiya Fukune is a two-story machiya in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto, rented as a whole house near Nijo Castle. The house has tatami rooms, a living room, a bedroom, an indoor hinoki bath, and an outdoor bath in a small garden. At check-in, staff show guests how to make matcha, and a traditional breakfast is provided. It is a little far to walk from the train station.
