SUBS Sandwich Store is a small shop in a quiet alley in central Kyoto that sells American-style sub sandwiches and vegetarian options. Order a Philly cheesesteak, meatball, or bacon and egg sandwich and it is cooked in front of you, sometimes with chips and salad on the side. The space is a converted traditional Kyoto machiya, and there are only five counter seats. The menu board is in English.
