Süßes Vegetus

Jusesus Vegetus is a baumkuchen pastry shop a 4-6 minute walk from Kyoto Shiyakusho-mae Station. It hand-bakes honey, matcha, and bitter chocolate flavors, selling freshly baked pieces and pieces rested 4-5 days after baking separately. Products are sold by weight, and there is no seating inside the store. Arriving late can mean a sellout, with a wait until baking resumes.
