Sawawa Japanese Matcha Sweets (Nishiki) is a cafe in Nishiki Market that sells matcha ice cream, green tea desserts, and tea gifts. The matcha ice cream comes in four concentration levels, A through D, and dorayaki and tiramisu are also served. A standing area on the second floor has seats looking out over the market street. The green tea bingsu and green tea desserts have a sugary-water taste and a mushy texture.
