MARUZEN Café 京都店

Maruzen Café Kyoto is in the basement of Kyoto BAL in Sanjo, Kyoto, inside the Maruzen bookstore. It serves Hayashi rice tied to founder Yuteki Hayashi, along with lemon cake. Set toward the back of the bookstore, it is easy to stop by after choosing a book, and siphon coffee can be ordered. The Hayashi rice portion is small and does not suffice as a lunch meal.
