Maison Tanuki

Maison Tanuki is a 100-year-old komachi cafe on Aneyakoji street, a short walk from Karasuma Oike Station in Kyoto. It serves afternoon tea that changes with the season and parfaits made with sweet potato, melon, or strawberry, with two kinds of black tea to choose from. There are second-floor window seats and counter seats facing the garden, and iced tea is served in wine glasses. On weekend afternoons, seats are often filled by reservations.
