Kanno Coffee

Kanno Coffee is a cafe in Kyoto serving coffee, French toast, and pancakes. From opening until 11 a.m., it offers a morning set that includes coffee, and its French toast combines savory, nutty, and sweet flavors. The narrow, elongated cafe has dark wood interiors, jazz playing, and mostly four-person tables. When the second floor is closed, the wait is about five minutes; prices are relatively high, and communication is difficult in languages other than Japanese.
