Cafe Kari Renge

Cafe Kari Renge is a cafe in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto, reached by walking a short distance from Kyoto Shiyakusho-mae Station into a narrow stone-paved alley. At lunch it serves spice curry and pilaf, along with matcha cake and coffee. The space is a renovated komachiya over 100 years old, and guests can stay for a long time in the quiet interior. The entrance sits at the back of a rear alley, which makes it hard to find.
