Paper Moon is a small bar set off a main street in Kyoto, serving whisky, wine, sake and Okinawan spirits. It has four counter seats and room for about ten people, plays jazz, and takes requests such as city pop when no other customers are present. The owner, Atsumi, talks with customers in English and Japanese about music and culture and helps them mix with local patrons. The whisky selection is not large.
