Nihon Wine Tasuku is a bar in Kawaramachi, Kyoto, that serves Japanese wine. It offers shojin plates made without meat or fish and vegetable dishes alongside the wine, and the master can select wines for you. One female master has run the bar since 2008, and temporary closures or changes to opening hours mean you need to check Instagram. The counter has only five or six seats, so large groups cannot be accommodated.
