Japanese Bar SHUKURA

Japanese Bar SHUKURA is a sake bar at the northern end of Pontocho in Kyoto, serving sake from Kyoto, Shiga and other parts of Japan. It offers a three- to four-kind tasting set along with seasonal and rare sake, paired with snacks such as saba heshiko and cream cheese. Before 19:00, a choinomi set combining drinks with three of the day's snacks is available, and staff explain the sake in detail. There is a per-person seating charge.
