BAR NEXT is a whisky and cocktail bar within a five-minute walk of Kyoto City Hall. It stocks rare Japanese whiskies and whiskies from around the world, and makes improvised cocktails to match your taste. The bartender brings bottles to the table to explain them and guides whisky beginners through the menu. There are many table seats for groups, and quiet music plays so conversation is easy.
