Noan Catholic Church in Naju is a Gothic-style cruciform church that is over 100 years old. It was built at its current site during the Japanese colonial period, and the old building has been preserved while Seongolombano Private Middle School was operated there. The church is a 10-minute drive from downtown Naju, and the hiking trail behind it is the longest route leading to the summit of Geumseongsan. Even in cherry blossom season it stays quiet rather than crowded like a tourist spot.
