Makishi Public Market

Makishi Public Market is in the Kokusai Street area of Naha, Okinawa, and sells seafood, livestock products, and sea grapes. On the first floor, shoppers choose seafood such as yakogai clams and semi-ebi shrimp, then have it cooked to order at restaurants on the second floor. The building was renovated in March 2023 and closes on the fourth Sunday of each month. The market is smaller than expected.
