Nagoya Station is a complex rail hub in central Nagoya where the Shinkansen and several rail lines meet. JR Tokai, Nagoya Municipal Subway, Meitetsu, Kintetsu, and the Aonami Line converge here, with the Meitetsu line to the airport and the subway to Sakae also running through. Signs are displayed in Japanese, English, and Korean, and bento shops and convenience stores sit next to the platforms, making it easy to buy tickets and wait for trains. The transfer passages between JR, Meitetsu, and Kintetsu are long, taking more than five minutes from end to end.
