Meijo Park is a large park next to Nagoya Castle. It has a children's playground, wide lawns, and walking paths, and the Nagoya Castle keep is visible only from certain points inside the park. A market opens in the plaza on weekends, and there is a small botanical garden, a quiet pond, and flower beds. Some areas cannot be visited due to construction.
