Higashiyama Sky Tower

Higashiyama Sky Tower is an observation deck on the edge of Nagoya, next to Higashiyama Zoo. Its windows are glass on all sides, and on clear days the view takes in the city and distant mountain ranges, with sunset and night views also worth seeing. A combined ticket with the zoo lets you get a re-entry ticket at the tower and ride a slow elevator up to the observation deck. From Hoshigaoka Station it takes about 15 minutes on foot up a quiet slope, which makes it hard to find at night.
