Cultural Path Shumokukan

Kultur no Michi Shumoku-kan is a historical site on Nagoya's Culture Path where a modern Japanese-style building stands with a Japanese garden. A cafe inside looks out onto the courtyard, and there is also a Japanese-style tea room. The first floor can be viewed without an admission fee, while the second-floor hand puppet exhibition and traditional string instrument performances are part of the route. Seeing beyond the first floor requires an admission fee, which makes using only the cafe costly.
