Andong Janchi Guksu

Andong Janchi Guksu is an old neighborhood restaurant across from Sinmok Middle School in Mokdong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, serving janchi guksu and kongnamul bap. The janchi guksu uses a rich anchovy broth, and ordering bibim guksu brings a small bowl of janchi guksu on the side. The janchi guksu portion is large enough that an adult man can barely finish it, and the kimchi and geotjeori are good as well. Parking in front of the restaurant holds only one or two cars and is often full.
