Painagama Beach is an urban beach within walking distance of Hirara town on Miyakojima. It has white coral sand and emerald water, with Irabu Bridge visible in the distance. The beach has parking, restrooms, showers, a pavilion, and a ramp for strollers and wheelchairs. When the weather is cloudy, the color of the sea is less vivid.
