Akamaru Shokudo

Akamaru Shokudo is an 80-year-old neighborhood home-style restaurant in Bentencho, Osaka, serving chicken katsu and fried shrimp set meals. The shrimp set comes with 15 pieces the size of two fingers, along with pasta, cabbage salad, and mashed potatoes. The chicken katsu portion is large enough for two adults to share, and the weekday basic set meal can only be ordered until 2 PM. Eating more than half of the chicken katsu can feel greasy.
