Bentenchō Station

Bentencho Station connects the JR line and the Osaka Metro Chuo Line and is linked to Osaka Bay Tower. It provides access to Namba, Umeda, and Kaiyukan, and trains arriving for Cosmo Square can be photographed from the station. During the 2025 Osaka Expo, the station underwent a full renovation as a transfer point to the Chuo Line for the event site, and trains for Kansai Airport require boarding cars 1 through 4 at Platform 1. Around 1 p.m. the station is less crowded, and transferring from JR to the Chuo Line involves a fairly long walk through a connecting passage.
