Tonki

Tonkatsu Tonki Meguro Honten is a tonkatsu restaurant in Meguro, Tokyo, operating since 1967 and serving rosu and hire katsu set meals. Diners choose between rosu and hire, and each set comes with misoshiru made from pork bones and back fat and cabbage cut by hand. The restaurant has counter seats on the first floor around a central open kitchen and a hall on the second floor, and on the first floor the wait begins after ordering. The batter separates easily from the meat.
