MARUZEN Café 日本橋店

Maruzen Cafe Nihonbashi is on the third floor of the Maruzen bookstore, a one-minute walk from Nihonbashi Station, and serves hayashi rice and desserts. The hayashi rice, its signature dish, uses a demi-glace sauce carrying the sweetness of vegetables and the flavor of beef. On weekend lunchtimes the wait for a table can approach 30 minutes, while on weekday afternoons entry is possible without waiting. The hayashi omurice comes with a somewhat scant amount of sauce.
