Remains of Tokyo Prefectural Office

The Tokyo Prefectural Office Site is a marker stone and information board left beside the Tokyo International Forum near Yurakucho Station. The office was built in Marunouchi in 1894 and completed in 1898, and after being destroyed in the war only the marker stone remains. It was designated a Tokyo Metropolitan Historic Site on March 28, 1955. A single stone and an information board sit in a corner next to the building, making it hard to find without looking closely.
