Los Angeles Union Station is a train station in downtown Los Angeles served by Metrolink and Amtrak. Tickets can be bought in advance online or through the Metro app, and connections to buses and the subway are available. After checking your train ticket, you can wait on cushioned sofas, and security is stationed so bicycles can be left inside the station. At night there are many homeless people, which makes using the station frightening.
