Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier

Pacific Park is a small amusement park on the beachfront at Santa Monica Pier. Its main ride, the Pacific Wheel, is a Ferris wheel that turns about seven times per ride and offers views of the sunset and ocean around dusk. A round-trip trail connects Temescal Canyon to Santa Monica Pier, and at night the amusement park lights look better. Ride fees are on the expensive side, and there are homeless people outside the park.
