UN Sculpture Park is an outdoor park at the east gate of the UN Memorial Park in Busan, displaying 34 sculptures on the theme of peace and freedom. The works are by sculptors from 21 countries that participated in the Korean War, made for the International Sculpture Symposium marking the 50th anniversary of the war. Construction began on April 9, 2001, and the park was completed on October 24 of that year, with restrooms on site. A nude sculpture stands next to the restrooms, which can be awkward for visitors with children.
