Live Fish Izakaya Marufuku

Marufuku is a live-seafood izakaya on the Kiyamachi and Takasegawa riverside, close to Exit 1 of Kawaramachi Station, serving fugu and seasonal seafood. Its courses include hamo shabu-shabu and a full fugu course with assorted hoe, charcoal-grilled dishes, fugu hot pot, and rice porridge to finish. Large tanks stand at the front and inside the shop, which has table seats, counter seats, and tatami private rooms. The entrance sits deep in an alley and is hard to find, and the portions are small.
