Kimiya

Kimiya is an izakaya in Gion, Kyoto's entertainment district, and it is a neighborhood bar that mainly serves regular Japanese customers. The owner and staff talk with the customers, which keeps the atmosphere of a local izakaya. All seats are at the counter, and when there was no seat, a customer waited and then made a seat to sit down. If you ask in Japanese for a recommendation in your preferred price range, they will bring out dishes on their own.
