Kobe Motomachi Shopping Street is an arcade-style shopping street near Sannomiya Station, Daimaru department store, and Nankinmachi. It holds steak restaurants, home-style diners, pharmacies, fruit shops, and bag shops, running from 1-chome to 6-chome. The first street has brand stores, while souvenir shops, used bookstores, and small goods shops appear further in. The street is over 1 km long and takes about 20 minutes to walk end to end, and some shops open their doors with the air conditioning on, offering relief from the heat.
